Today I proudly announce that Aflexi has launched its brand new website, a new red logo, and most importantly – the pre-launch of the anticipated Aflexi CDN Platform. In a nutshell, our CDN consists of server-side delivery software for webhosts to run to form their own CDN, and a marketplace where webhosts can connect with other webhosts to expand their CDN footprints.

We invite webhosts and webmasters to be part of our CDN Revolution by emailing prelaunch@aflexi.net to sign up for a free trial. Within the next few weeks you will receive a notification of your login details to access to our product download page, support system, bug tracker, and discussion forum. Although under active development, I assure that you will see the underlying potential that this revolutionary product has.

A short word about the journey of Aflexi – it started three years ago while running my own webhosting company. I envisioned that CDN Services were the way for webhosting companies to move up the value chain. Existing single-server solutions were not sophisticated enough to serve increasingly rich broadband content. Building a CDN for myself would incur massive investment for the delivery software, let alone the network infrastructure. It then struck me that instead of building the delivery software solely for myself, it could be licensed to other webhosts so they can mutually benefit from it. Three years later, my vision is becoming reality.
